MOTHERS DAY AND BRIDES TO BE MOTHERS IN THE YEAR OF THE PIG 2007

This Mothers Day May 13th 2007 falls during the Chinese Year of the Pig. It is particularly a special year of the pig because it happens to be the year of ” The “Fire Red” Golden Pig or,’ding-hai.’which is said to occur only once every 600 years.
The year of the Pig symbolizes fertility and good luck. Brides married last year ,the Year of the Dog or early in the Year of the Pig have the luck to be very fertile and become mothers within the Chinese Pig zodiac cycle ending February 6,2008.

FERTILITY RATES PREDICTED TO PEAK IN THE YEAR OF THE PIG
The Shanghai Population and Family Planning Commission predicted that 131,000 babies will be born in the city this year, up from 123,901 last year
