Not all diamonds cut, polished and mined in Canada can qualify as the The Canadian Love Diamond™. Apparently less than 1 percent make this mark. The facets of the Canadian Love Diamond is the result of perfection in the art of symmetry. The perfect symmetry is a the result of the pattern from the 8 arrows which visible from the crown are the 8 pavilion main facets. The 8 hearts which are visible from the pavilion side are a result of the reflection of 16 lower girdle facets in the table of the diamond making the complete Hearts and Arrows pattern.
